Creating your account

Getting started with KuchiKomi AI is easy. Follow these steps to create your account:

1. Visit the registration page by clicking 'Get Started' in the navigation
2. Enter your email address and create a secure password
3. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
4. Complete your profile by adding your business name and details

Your 14-day free trial starts immediately after registration. No credit card required.

Connecting Google Business Profile

To manage your reviews, you'll need to connect your Google Business Profile:

1. Go to Settings > Integrations in your dashboard
2. Click 'Connect Google Business Profile'
3. Sign in with your Google account that manages your business
4. Grant the requested permissions to allow KuchiKomi AI to read and respond to reviews
5. Select which business locations you want to manage

Your reviews will start syncing automatically within 15 minutes of connecting.

Responding to your first review

Once your Google Business Profile is connected, here's how to respond to reviews:

1. Navigate to the Reviews page in your dashboard
2. Find a review that needs a response (marked as 'Pending')
3. Click 'Generate Response' to create an AI-powered response
4. Review and edit the generated response if needed
5. Click 'Approve and Post' to publish the response to Google

The AI generates professional, keigo-appropriate responses tailored to each review.

Viewing and filtering reviews

The Reviews page provides powerful tools to manage all your customer reviews:

• Filter by rating (1-5 stars) to focus on specific review types
• Filter by response status: Pending, Approved, or Posted
• Filter by location if you manage multiple business locations
• Search reviews by customer name or content keywords
• Sort by date, rating, or response status

Using the approval workflow

KuchiKomi AI uses an approval workflow to ensure quality responses:

1. Pending: Review has no response yet
2. Draft: AI has generated a response awaiting your review
3. Approved: You've approved the response, ready to post
4. Posted: Response has been published to Google

You maintain full control - no response is posted without your approval.

Bulk actions for efficiency

Save time by performing actions on multiple reviews at once:

• Select multiple reviews using the checkboxes
• Generate responses for all selected reviews at once
• Approve and post multiple responses simultaneously
• Export selected reviews to CSV for reporting

Configuring AI settings

Customize how AI generates responses for your business:

• Go to Settings > AI Configuration in your dashboard
• Set your business type to help AI understand your context
• Add business-specific information the AI should know
• Configure response length preferences (concise, standard, or detailed)
• Set your preferred language and formality level

Choosing response tone

Select the tone that best matches your brand voice:

• Formal: Professional keigo suitable for corporate businesses
• Friendly: Warm and approachable while maintaining professionalism
• Casual: Relaxed tone suitable for casual dining or retail

The AI automatically adjusts language complexity based on your selection.

Creating custom templates

Create templates for common response scenarios:

• Navigate to Settings > Response Templates
• Create templates for different star ratings or review types
• Use placeholders for customer name and review-specific details
• Set templates as default for automatic suggestion

Managing your subscription

Manage your KuchiKomi AI subscription from the Billing page:

• View your current plan and billing cycle
• Upgrade or downgrade your subscription
• See days remaining in your trial period
• Cancel or pause your subscription

After your 14-day free trial, the subscription is 2,980 JPY/month.

Updating payment methods

Keep your payment information up to date:

• Go to Billing > Payment Methods
• Add a new credit or debit card
• Set a default payment method
• Remove outdated payment methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB cards.

Viewing invoices and receipts

Access your billing history and download receipts:

• View all past invoices in Billing > History
• Download PDF invoices for accounting
• See payment status and dates
• Request invoice corrections if needed

Google Business Profile setup

Set up and maintain your Google Business Profile integration:

• Ensure you have owner or manager access to your Google Business Profile
• Complete the OAuth connection process
• Verify permissions are granted for reading and responding to reviews
• Check connection status in Settings > Integrations

Adding multiple locations

Manage reviews for all your business locations:

• Connect additional locations from the Locations page
• Each location can have its own AI settings and templates
• Switch between locations using the location selector
• View combined analytics across all locations

Review sync settings

Configure how reviews are synced from Google:

• Reviews sync automatically every 15 minutes
• Manually trigger a sync from the Reviews page
• Configure notification preferences for new reviews
• Set up automatic response generation for new reviews

Google connection issues

If you're having trouble connecting to Google:

• Verify you're signed into the correct Google account
• Ensure you have owner or manager access to the business profile
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting from Settings > Integrations
• Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again
• Contact support if issues persist

Review sync problems

If reviews aren't syncing properly:

• Check that your Google connection is active in Settings
• Try manually triggering a sync from the Reviews page
• Verify the location is still connected
• New reviews may take up to 15 minutes to appear
• Check if Google API permissions need to be re-authorized

Response posting errors

If responses fail to post to Google:

• Check that your response meets Google's guidelines
• Ensure you have posting permissions for the business
• Verify the Google connection hasn't expired
• Try regenerating and posting the response again
• Contact support if the error persists
